At Power Down Energy Consulting, we specialize in providing energy-saving lighting upgrades for many clients across Canada. We are proudly Canadian based, and our goal is to make sustainable energy solutions accessible to everyone.
Our LED retrofit package is complete and comprehensive. It starts with an energy audit to assess the current usage, followed by the application of any applicable rebates. We then provide a complete installation of new LED lighting systems, including any necessary safety precautions. Finally, we provide warranty service and after-sales maintenance to ensure your energy savings remain consistent over time.
By assisting our clients through converting their existing spaces to LED, we help remove power off the grid, thus reducing our collective emission footprint. In addition, our energy-efficient lighting solutions will result in savings on your electricity bill while also improving the quality of light in your space. Our Process
Services
At Power Down Energy Consulting, we pride ourselves on our professional and reliable process. We understand the importance of working with you to ensure that your lighting retrofit meets your needs and preferences.
Initial Audit
Our process begins with an initial audit. We offer a free on-site audit of your existing electrical system
Proposal
We prepare two proposals for you – one with the most energy savings while keeping the light levels the same and two, a more expensive but complete fixture retrofit that revitalizes your existing space while still saving you energy compared to your existing lighting.
Installation
Once you approve one of our proposals, we ready our team and order custom-selected lights and fixtures. We then schedule an install time that works best for you, preferably outside business hours. The installation typically takes between 2-5 days, depending on job size and scope, after which we confirm that everything is to your satisfaction, take completed photos for your file, and remove all old fixtures and lamps. We then finalize any rebate application submission and leave you with before/after photos.
Post Install
After a few months, we check in with you to confirm the expected energy savings. We also complete an annual site visit to address any warranty claims or concerns you may have, as well as communicate with you if any new technologies or advancements may be beneficial to you. At Power Down Energy Consulting, we are committed to providing you with the best service possible to help reduce our collective emission footprint.

Who We Are?
Power Down Energy is a Vancouver-based energy-saving lighting upgrade company doing business Canada-wide. We have been providing LED lighting upgrades for our clients since 2012 when LED technology was just starting to become popular.
Our mission is to reduce power off the grid and create an overall reduction in the emissions footprint for all of our retrofitted customers. We have successfully upgraded over 200 clients since then and helped them to lower their energy costs and improve their lighting.
